Thank you for using KogTrainer. If you have any questions or feedback, please reach out using the contact below.
The most reliable way is Menu → FEEDBACK in the app (or "Something wrong with this ride?" on the workout result screen). Your device and app details are filled in automatically, which saves a round trip.
You can also email us directly:
Symptoms like "cadence is not shown" or "ERG mode does not work" often come from differences in how each model implements the Bluetooth protocol. We cannot own and test every trainer on the market, so attaching diagnostics dramatically improves the chance of finding the cause.
Steps:
1. While the problem is still happening, open Menu → FEEDBACK in the app (after a workout you can also use "Something wrong with this ride?" on the result screen)
2. Make sure "Attach diagnostics" is on (it is on by default)
3. Describe the problem and send
What gets attached is a record of communication with your BLE devices: connection and disconnection history, the list of capabilities each device reports, per-item message counts and the data-type flags the device sends, communication errors, and the control commands sent to the trainer (target power and grade settings). Measured values such as heart rate, power, and cadence are not included. BLE device identifiers are also replaced with sequential labels (dev1, dev2…) and serial numbers in device names are masked.
You can review everything that will be sent via "Review what is attached" before sending. Diagnostics leave your device only when you perform this send action.
If you email us directly, please include the following whenever possible:
• Device model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro) and OS version
• App version (available in the Settings screen)
• The model name of your smart trainer or sensor
• A description of the issue and steps to reproduce it
• Screenshots, if available
KogTrainer is developed and maintained by an individual, so please allow a few days for a reply. Thank you for your patience.
Bluetooth sensors won't connect
Make sure the sensor is powered on, is not currently connected to another app, and that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
FTP and training zones
Updating FTP, max heart rate, or resting heart rate from the Profile screen automatically recalculates your power and heart rate zones.
